We went to Kiyosato today.
Reckless Maya-san looking down from a bridge.
“Doryu no Taki” or “Doryu Waterfall” is the one we like.
Since Maya-san’s leg was a bit weak today, we did not go up for a hiking. It would have been wonderful up there.
We drove to “Kiyosato no mori“. Katya took many pictures.
Maya-san did her job.
For dinner, Katya and I used a 19% discount coupon at “Tokube”.
Then we played tennis for one hour in “Yamanashi Youth Center“.
It was a busy weekend again. Tomorrow, I leave for Nagoya for a business trip.
I agree that “Doryu no Taki” is a nice waterfall… they’re not grand in the sense of big waterfalls, but there’s something quite beautiful in their relationship with the mountains. I’ve seen a few of these waterfalls in Japan, and always enjoy.
Going out in the mountains and forests is one of the best things to do… do you have bears around Kofu as well (they have a lot in Hokkaido). It always makes hiking a little tense.
I laughed when I saw the 19% discount. Clearly 20% was just a little too generous!…
Yes, Ben, we like small waterfalls, too, which could be placed even in a Japanese garden.
19% discount has a reason. Every 19th is called “Tokube day” in that restaurant. To = 10, Ku = 9 in Japanese.
