Ordinary Saturday

Nothing special today.  I write down what I did.

I woke up at 7:30 AM to take Maya-san out for a walk; Katya had a cold yesterday.  It was a thirty minute walk.  Maya-san saw two cats and tried to fight as usual.  I did not let her.

I went to the institute at 8:30 PM.

I went back home at 12 PM.  I had lunch with Katya.  Her cold was over.

After the lunch, I went to a hospital for my nose check with my mini.

Then I went back to my office.

Katya sent me an e-mail telling that she drove to Shosenyo to take pictures but that the parking lots were all full.  It means the colored leaves are at their best.  We planned to go there tomorrow.  It we cannot park the car again, Katya will go during the weekdays.

I came back home at 6:30 PM and we went to play tennis for one hour. Maya-san kept the apartment for us.  My right thigh still hurt.

We bought oden again on the way back from the court.

We had a Korean hot pot yesterday.  We still had some and we put some udon noodles in it.  I had some wine.

The dish was good and I took the second one myself.  I spilled it because I was drunk.

Katya got angry not because I spilled the soup but because I eat too much these days.  She cleaned the carpet and I cleaned the dishes.

We had some desserts.  I shared some with Maya-san.

We watched the Ferrari factory in National Geographic.  Maya-san wss on Katya’s legs.

Now we are watching FRIENDS for the third time.  We lie down on the carpet with Maya-san with a blanket on.

Hiya – sounds like you’re back into the swing of normal life.

I hope that Shosenyo isn’t too far a drive away (it’s a long way to find a full car-park).

Hehehe… had to laugh about the hotpot incident. Hopefully the carpet wasn’t too badly messed up. The disadvantage of only one half of a couple getting drunk is that you know you are always going to end up being the one that looks silly! My wife doesn’t drink – so she’s seen me looking like an idiot on many occasions. Unfortunately… too many occasions.

Hope Katya is a forgiving wife…

It takes only half an hour from home to Shosenkyo. Katya went there again today, but the parking lots were all occupied even on Monday. She had to wait for the tour buses to come out.

We both like drinking, but Katya has a hangover since she came to Japan. It is funny she does not have one in Vladivostok when she is back in her home town.

Katya forgives me all the time, so do I repeat.
