Quiet Sunday

I stayed up late working last night, and I had a good sleep till 10 AM.  After taking Maya-san for a walk, Katya and I had brunch at Gusto

Then, I started making beef stew, which I long wanted to make once myself.  While I was cooking, Katya went out shopping.

After Katya came home, we took Maya-san out again, and then went out for tennis on a public court.  Katya had bought a pair of tennis shoes specialized to be used on clay and omni courts and she wanted to try them for the first time.

Last time we played, the sun light really annoyed us, so we planned to play between  4 and 5 PM on a different court.

Balls looked very nicely when we started.

It was getting darker and darker.  Right after we finished playing, the lights were lit on.

Such a bureaucratic management! We will then play after 5 PM from next time.

Katya and I went to Sports Depo for some winter sports wears.

I was watching new-model skis, while Katya was choosing jackets.

After welcomed by Maya-san at home, I restarted cooking stew.  I grilled vegetables and put them in.

Here you are.

It was totally successful.  All of us , including Maya-san, enjoyed it.

Looks like a great success. As for the trials and tribulations of the tennis court, it’s a shame that you’re not having much luck with the light(s). Brrrr… just thinking about the sun going down that early makes me feel cold.

Hope that you managed to get enough done on Saturday. Ah… sleeping in till 10am. Must have been a very late night.

Thank you, Ben. It was a trial for us to play tennis between 4 and 5 PM on the court, so it is OK.

Work has not been finished, but it is getting less.
