First Snow in Kofu and Chili Cooking

It was cold last night.  I had a slight cold.  In the morning, we found the first snow in Kofu, 5 mm in depth.

So we lazily got up late and stayed home except for Maya-san’s walks.

After the breakfast, I started cooking chili, which I was not able to do yesterday.  I took enough time to prepare today.   It was a success.  Nothing can be complained.

We both took three bowls.  We got so full.

Hmmm – 5mm is hardly snow (having seen how much snow is currently falling in Sapporo now).

Having said that, I doubt we’ve even ever had 1 mm in Adelaide (we very rarely get just a light dusting in the Adeliade Hills, but never on the Adelaide Plains). Therefore I should be jealous – even of 5mm.

Hope the cold is getting better… I think the Chili will help… if nothing else it should clear your sinuses.

Hello, Ben. When I walked out with Maya-san from the apartment in the morning, the ground was all covered with snow and looked white all over, but it disappeared in the afternoon.
I stayed inside with Katya, which is not common. It could have been a good day for skiing.
We were planning to go see a movie, but we stopped it, too.
Chili was delicious. It was a big lunch. It is 9 PM now, and we are still full in spite of the fact that we have not had dinner.

It seems to be hot in Adelaide. I hope T-chan, L-kun, and your parents are fine.
