Lotus for summer

Eventually it did not rain last night, but we had a heavy shower this evening; the tennis lesson was canceled.

In order to beat hot summer, Katya and I went to a Thai restaurant, Lotus.

We ordered tamarind and lychee juices.  Katya was checking a Thai-restaurant guidebook.

Thai-Japanese-English combined magazines were there in the restaurant.

You scrub the frog’s back with the stick to make frogs’ voice to call waiters.

Grilled kang kong looked simple, but actually the taste was delicately arranged with spices.

Tom yum goong cannot be missed in Lotus.

Harmony of spices with the back tone of coconut milk was perfect as usual.

We waited for the spicy jew’s‐ear salad, which was not needed.

We were satisfied, anyway.

It was not so warm inside of the apartment.  Air conditioner was unnecessary.
