New fish and new restaurant

In the morning, I took DVDs back to TSUTAYA before the shop opened so that we did not have to be charged for the delay. Then I walked with Maya-san by Arakawa river. For breakfast, we went to Gusto. We had relatively big brunch. In the afternoon, we went to “Fish Land Ishihara” and bought three lambchop rasboras to put them in our aquarium.  Fish with bright color should go well with the others. However, the saleswoman mistakenly gave us two orange tetras and two red cherry shrimp (we think that the she did not see well). Since the fish bag was wrapped, we found it only at home. We decided … Continue reading

Budgets, Budgets, Budgets

Today is Sunday. I woke up at 9:30 AM after the busy 2-night journey. I had breakfast with Katya and Maya-san and went to my office to work on the budgets.  The bureau asked us to send them tomorrow. Katya and I had lunch at 3 PM at Gusto. Then I started working again. At 9:30 PM, Katya, Maya-san and I had a walk. Then I started working again. I will stay at the office tonight.

Thursday, May 5, 2011 in Kofu

Today is Children’s Day, a national holiday. We woke up late.  After taking Maya-san out, Katya and I went to Gusto for breakfast. Then we had a long walk in the mountain. We went to Tokube for late lunch. It is Thursday, supposed to be Tuna Day in Tokube.  Unfortunately, we found they do not have Tuna Day on holidays.  Anyway, we used a 19% discount coupon. We played evening tennis from 7 to 9 PM in Midorigaoka Sports Park.  They have clay courts, which Katya likes. We were the only ones who played this evening. Our holidays are over.  I will work again on my proposal, and Katya will … Continue reading

Ume Garden for the Ageless

In the morning, we had breakfast at Gusto. Then three of us, Katya, Maya-san, and I, visited an ume garden named “Furoen“, or “Garden for the Ageless”.  The name is taken from a Chinese legend. Although it was a very warm day for winter, blossoms are not in their full bloom. In a green house are sold bonsais. Maya-san’s hind left leg is a bit weak now, so I sometimes carried her. She will be OK as usual after some rest. Yes, we found blossoms, too. Katya will probably post her better pictures later in her own photo blog. We played tennis for two hours.  It was fun on a … Continue reading

Slow Holiday

We stayed up late.  Katya still had a cold.  I took Maya-san for a walk, and Katya and I went out to take breakfast at Gusto. Maya-san enjoyed a trash party while we were out. Then I was working and Katya took a rest. For a late lunch, we went to Bamiyan, a Chinese restaurant. Maya-san enjoyed a trash party while we were out.  She was scolded twice in one day. Maya-san is the one who really wants to enjoy the holiday together.
