Lost and Found, and Seminar, and Lost

Last night, I found out that I had left my glasses on board. I called to the airline company this morning after they started working. They kept the glasses.  It was lucky that I stayed in Narita, eventually. The hotel shuttle took me to the airport from the hotel. At the airport, the temperature was above 25 C. No wonder I sweated. I went up to the ticket-selling desk, as I had been told, and received the glasses. Lucky me! Then I took a bus to Shinjuku, Tokyo, not to Kofu, in order to attend a real estate seminar  at Hilton Tokyo, given  for the representatives of apartments.  This free seminar was held … Continue reading

Business trip to Tokyo

I arrived at Kofu station at 6:15 AM by my motor cycle. For early breakfast, I took a beef bowl at Yoshinoya in front of the station. Then I took a bus to Tokyo. The bus was late by an hour because of a traffic jam. I arrived at the conference site in Odaiba at 10:30 PM.    Our institute director carried out a 40-minute speech.  I helped him with the poster presentation.  Our presentations ended with no problem. I took a bus back to Kofu at 5:30 PM from Shinjuku. It arrived at 7:40 PM at Kofu station. I took a motor bike back home. Natalia brought Russian bread from Russia … Continue reading

Business trip to Tokyo on Saturday

In the morning, I took a bus to Tokyo; there would be real estate and academic meetings. The bus left at 7:30 PM. I had a hamburger for breakfast in the bus. From Shinjuku, I took trains to Akabanebashi, Minato Ward. From the exit of the station, Tokyo Tower can be seen. Then, I walked to the apartment, in which I have a studio. I looked around, inside and outside. Bicyles were not properly parked.    I took photos to show to the managing company. On the way back to Akabane Station, I walked through Shiba Park.    It was a small but quiet park in a busy Tokyo area. … Continue reading

Apartment meeting, First visit to Thai restaurant

I woke up at 4:30 AM; there was a meeting in the morning in Tokyo  for the owners of the apartments in Nakaochiai. I left home at 5 AM to Kofu station by bike. I had a beef bowl at Yoshinoya in front of Kofu station for breakfast. Then I took a bus to Shinjuku at 5:30 AM from Kofu station. I studied/slept in the bus. The bus arrived in Shinjuku at 7:30 AM. I had taken trains to Nakaochiai to check the apartment building before the meeting started. The building was built nearly 10 years ago. There were places to be  renewed and cleaned.  I took pictures to show … Continue reading
