It is Sunday today. When I woke up, it was raining. I took Maya-san out for a walk in the morning. She was a good girl enough not to hesitate to walk in the rain, which is not very often. After the walk, Katya drove to Jonathan’s. I read a newspaper, while Katya an internet magazine with her iPad. Drinks in Jonathan’s are better than in Gusto, so we might be going to have Sunday breakfasts in Jonathan’s, although Gusto is in the walking distance from our apartment. Then we went to “Pet Field” to see live rocks to be put in a fish tank. We did not buy … Continue reading
It is Autumnal Equinox Day today. Katya and I went to Red Lobster for a late lunch. After the lunch, Katya and I went to “Fishland Ishihara” to learn how to decorate a sea-water fish tank. Then Katya, Maya-san, and I went for a walk together.
After we got up, I gave Katya a small present for her birthday. I bought it in Korea and kept it. Then I took Maya-san for a morning walk (as a tiny extra birthday present), and left home. In the late afternoon, Katya came by Smart and we went together to Red Lobster. I had reserved seats for us. There were some customers even on a weekday. We are glad because we have been worried about the withdrawal of Red Lobster from Kofu. We found that it is “Crab day” today on Tuesday, when we get some discounts. We ordered a lobster. For Katya’s birthday, they took pictures … Continue reading
In the morning, I took Maya-san to Arakawa River Park. The lawn was faded by the heat. Maya-san walked on grasses. I went to Gusto for breakfast. I read two newspapers. When I turned on TV, Sharapova was with a Japanese comedian, who went to London to interview athletes. The interview was funny. Today’s Sunday, so I spend a lazy life with Maya-san.
Katya seems to be having fun in Vladivostok. She tells me that the weather is so nice there. Her parents are, of course, happy to have her. I am happy about it, too. I am OK, but it takes a lot of time taking care of Maya-san. I take her out three times a day. Besides, I have lunch together. When I try to work home after dinner, Maya-san always comes to me; she must have been lonely alone in the apartment. Therefore, my working time became less, and I am trying to, somehow, figure it out.
Today is Sunday. I woke up at 9 AM. It was getting hot again, so I decided to take Maya-san for a walk in the mountain. I arrived at a parking lot of a hotel “Zabouan” and starting walking in a forest. We took a walk for an hour and come back home. I felt tired and took a nap. Then I worked home. For dinner, I cooked a bowl of vegetable ramen. It was a success. Then I talked with Katya on the skype. She said the temperature had finally raised up to 30 degree C in Vladivostok. People liked it, but Katya preferred a cool weather while … Continue reading
Today is Saturday. I took a bike to Kofu Station for taking a train to Tokyo; I was going to talk with a company man about a new electrical leakage breaker, which should decrease the electricity cost of the apartment in Nakaochiai. I took a train starting at 12:11 PM. I had bought a hamburger “Le Grand” at McDonald’s. ”Le Grand“ is a Frenchy hamburger based on “Le M” sold in France. I tried it on the train. It was not for me. I did not like the bans and sausage. I prefer Big Mac. I arrived in “Ichigaya” at 2 PM. I met the guy and talked for 30 min in … Continue reading
Today is the first day of the international workshop, which I was preparing for. In the morning, I woke up early to take a long walk with Maya-san. Then I drove to Kofu Fujiya Hotel, where the workshop was held. I was chairing the meeting. There were 200 participants. During the lunch time, I came back to say hello to Maya-san. We had a coffee break, too. Seven invited lectures were given. Banquet started at 6 PM. Japanese traditional guitars were played. I left soon for Maya-san’s dinner and walk.
Katya is in Vladivostok. I took Maya-san out for a walk in the morning before going to school. There was a small international meeting starting at 10 AM. Six lectures were given. I saw two German professors after a year, both of whom are invited. During the lunch time, I quickly went back home to say hello to Maya-san. The meeting ended at 4 PM. At 5 PM, I went back home for Maya-san’s walk. After the walk, she asked for a shower again. At 8 PM, I finished my job. Today, I was able to talk with Katya on skype. She told me she could hear my voice clearly. … Continue reading
In the morning, I took Maya-san out for a walk while Katya was preparing for the departure. I drove Katya to Kofu station. Maya-san was not with us because Katya did not want to let her down. We took breakfast together at “Vie de France“. Then, Katya took a bus to Narita airport. We said good-bye on the cell phone around 4:30 PM, and Katya left for Vladivostok. I took Maya-san for an evening walk at 6 PM. It became cooler, but after the walk, Maya-san asked a shower to cool her down. Katya safely arrived in Vladivostok. We talked on skype; I was able to listen to Katya clearly, … Continue reading
