   I always think that the sight of maple leaves with a backdrop of bamboo grove is about as Japanese as you can get. Nice photo.

   Well, for me that combination is something Kyoto-y. Both maples and bamboos can be seen here (in Yamanashi), but for some reason they are never next to each other.
