Mariya’s Passport

In the morning, I took the Chinese roast pork out from the pot. They seemed to be well done. For Mariya’s passport, I went to the city hall in the evening.    The building was fully renewed this year. I received Mariya’s resident proof. After the city hall, I went to the prefecture passport center. The office was closing, so I only received the application forms. Resort Outlets Yatsugatake

All of us went to “Resort Outlet Yatsugatake“. It was cloudy today, and there were not so many people.    Maya-san had some fun in the dog run. Then we had lunch at an Italian restaurant “Lo Scoiattolo“. Dishes were good as usual for the price.        Mariya and Maya-san were waiting by us.    I had a slight cold and my eye hurt because of a lens, so I stayed in the car with Maya-san while Katya was shopping with Mariya. Working with Shimadzu and Panasonic

From yesterday, I have been working with Shimadzu and Panasonic researchers in my lab. Pretty tiring because  I have little time to rest. Shimadzu researchers left this evening, but Panasonic researchers stay until tomorrow. Tomorrow, a professor from Keio University arrives to carry out another experiments. I was pretty exhausted when I arrived home. Katya made a lot of spaghetti, and I finished it all.

Tomi no Oka on Sunday

It is Sunday today. There is a Suntory Winery, “Tomi no Oka” on the hill of Kai City next to Kofu. Katya and I went there for lunch with Mariya. We passed by the winery to the restaurant. There were not so many cars. We walked to the restaurant.    At the restaurant, “Wine Terrace“, we took seats outside. Katya and Mariya sat in the shadow under a tree. From the tree, a snake of a meter and a half dropped down by them! The snake was let go, and Katya changed the seat. Back with Maya-san to Kofu

Today is Greenery Day. I wanted to get up late, but woke up at 5 AM because of the paper screen used in the room, which let the sun light in. I had breakfast with my parents. Katya decided not to come because of Mariya being tired after the trip. With Maya-san, I drove by Lake Suwa. On the way, I dropped by a rest area “Shinshu Tsutakijuku“. I took a bowl of Soba noodle. Showa Day: April 29, 2013

Today was Showa Day, a holiday. Everybody got on the car. First, we went to Nishimatsu Ya, a baby-goods shop.    We went there to buy a shade for a baby carriage. Then we dropped by Starbucks to get a cup of coffee for me.   Then we went back home. After a quick lunch, all of us got on Smart again to Midorigaoka Sports Park.    We started a walk.      Katya pushed the carriage and I was taking Maya-san with me.  After some while, we switched. Walking together on Sunday

In the afternoon, Katya, Mariya, Maya-san and I went out for a walk around Takeda Shrine.  It was a beautiful day like yesterday. Katya then left with Maya-san home for chores, while Mariya and I kept walking. I looked into her face during the walk, and she was happy for some while. However, Mariya started looking for her mother and became gloomy, so we headed for home together. For dinner, I went to Manpuku Roh to take out fried egg plants and stir-fried shrimp both with chili sauces. New Year Party of Russian-Japanese couples

Katya, Mariya and I were invited to a new year party held at Katya’s friend’s who got married to a Japanese man. They have a boy of 7-year old. An Ukrainian-Japanese couple with two boys and a Russian lady with a girl were invited, too. The Russian lady was new to us. Katya made friends with her, and they decided to go to Tokyo some day. On Sunday, the 13th, the Ukrainian-Japanese family and us planned to go on a ski. It will be fun. Maya-san was safely keeping the house alone. After our arrival, everyone went out for a walk. Back in the lab

The student who got sick returned to the lab. We will work slowly. A researcher from Shimadzu arrived to work on the instrument of my scientific project. I cooked spaghetti for dinner. Mariya did not cry much during the night time, although Katya had to wake up, anyway.
