I publish a book in french next June, entitled “On Saint-Germain-des-Pres, thirty-one tanka on the next hand,” prefaced by Jean Orizet, by editions of Tanka Francophone, and the front-cover by Oskar Landi, photograph from NYC.
It is a book about Saint-Germain-des-Pres in the form of tanka, short and delightful form of Japanese poetry.
I wish the practical arrangements for an article on your blog. Or better, you can translate one of my tanka.
Briefly, I have published poems in fifty French and international reviews, am a professor at HEC, graduated from Sciences Po Paris, and worked with a former Minister.
Thank you. M. Grenier, for giving me a good chance to learn about Tankas in France. I have ordered your book. I will write about my impression when I have read it.
