Preparing for the meeting on Friday

For my scientific project, I am holding general meetings three times a year. The next meeting will be scheduled on this Friday in my institute; I started preparing for this. I checked the attendees. There will be nearly 30 people. Four officials are coming from a government organization. To all of them, I have sent the schedules. I have also sent the report I prepared last week. I planned the arrangement of the room, and I rechecked the party after the meeting. I hope that everything goes well on Friday.

Sunday Conference at Tokyo Institute of Technology

Several years ago, I received a fund from an engineering association. I had been asked to give a talk at a conference about the research performed by using the fund , but I was not able to do so because of the schedules. Today, Sunday, I managed to attend Tokyo Institute of Technology where the conference was held. My talk was scheduled from 2:35 PM, so I arrived at the building before 2 PM.    I gave a 15-minute talk. I hope it interested the  attendees, although the field might not be exactly of theirs. Getting ready to hold a workshop in August

The institute will hold a workshop on August 2 and 3. I have been asking researchers all over the world to join it. Today, the reserved attendees went up to 150, so it will be a big workshop. I am getting in touch with invited speakers, too.  Two from abroad have not responded to me yet. I need to ask them send us abstracts.
