Jingisukan BBQ dinner on Sunday
It is Sunday today. When I woke up, it was raining. I took Maya-san out for a walk in the morning. She was a good girl enough not to hesitate to walk in the rain, which is not very often. After the walk, Katya drove to Jonathan’s. I read a newspaper, while Katya an internet magazine with her iPad. Drinks in Jonathan’s are better than in Gusto, so we might be going to have Sunday breakfasts in Jonathan’s, although Gusto is in the walking distance from our apartment. Then we went to “Pet Field” to see live rocks to be put in a fish tank. We did not buy … Continue reading

Lazy Sunday on January 29, 2012
Katya, me, and Maya-san got up late this morning. I was working whole day, because of the business trip tomorrow. I need to finish some duties. In the evening, we went to Jonathan’s. While we were having dinner outside, Maya-san enjoyed a one-dog party, which she had not been holding for a while. We scolded her as a rule as usual. She stayed alone for a while. Then we are having a lazy evening. Now Nadal and Djokovic in the Australian open. Katya likes Nadal and worries whether he wins. She checks the game once in a while on the internet. We are watching Takeshi’s Castle.
Earthquake, Dohshinboh by mini, Submission of a paper
At about 7:40 AM, there was an earthquake. Although it was a Saturday morning, Katya woke up. Maya-san kept sleeping. Even though, the vibration was rather large, meaning that the location of the earthquake might be close to Kofu. The quake stopped, and restarted twice. Katya check the news by her iPad.; the epicenter was near Kofu, close to Mt. Fuji. The magnitude was 5.5, so it was not a big earthquake. Then I went to school to work. At 1 PM, Katya and I met at the parking … Continue reading

Katya’s new friend arrives
I was busy with my work in the morning. At 12:20 PM, Katya sent me an e-mail telling she had bought an iPad. Such a quick decision! In the evening, she showed it to me. She bought a brown screen protector for her iPad, too. Katya was very happy with it. I asked her why she had chosen an iPad instead of an Android. She said that iPad was the first tablet that impressed her, so she followed her first impression. It is midnight and all of us are at my parents’ in Shimosuwa. Katya and I will go to Hattushima, leaving Maya-san as usual.
